  • April 17: Volunteer of the Year; Barbara Lucks and Cindy Howell present our club's highest honor
  • April 22 (Tuesday instead of Thursday): Rotary on the Road at Crosslines, 3055 E. Division St.  This meeting will bring together three of the Rotary Clubs in Springfield for a chance to see how our club’s District Simplified Grant was used this year.  A buffet lunch begins at 11:45.  The program/tour begins at 12:05.   • April 15 (Tuesday): New Member Lunch, 12:00 - 1:00 at Scramblers; experienced members may join new members to delve into some aspect of club operations
  • April 17 (Thursday): Southeast Rotary Pottery Night, 5:30 - 8 p.m. at IronHorse Pottery, 384 Redbud St., Rogersville, MO 65742. Join us for a 2-hour pottery class.  The cost is $25 per person.   • April 19 (Saturday): Hands-on Service Opportunity, Ozarks Counseling Center Landscape Cleanup, 9:00 - 11:00, 614 South Avenue, Springfield, MO  65806.  Join us for round 2 of our landscape cleanup efforts. Bring gloves and garden tools and help spruce up the property!  Some of the tasks are: pulling weeks, running a weed eater, removing leaves and other debris, removing limbs, trimming bushes and shrubs, moving rocks, and a general outdoor spruce-up.  Registration Link: https://www.eventcreate.com/e/se-ozarks-counseling-center-2
  • May 1 (Thursday): Tequila Tasting & Education Event. Join us on Uno de Mayo at Brown Derby International Wine Center from 5:30-730. We will have 30 minutes of fellowship starting at 5:30 to enjoy some appetizers and a creative version of the classic Margarita. This will be followed by a flight of tequila tastings with some background education on each of the selections.   • May 8 (Thursday), Hands-on Service Opportunity, Convoy of Hope, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.  We're looking for 15 people to pack grocery bags and/or hygiene kits that are distributed at sites of disasters such as fires, floods, hurricanes and tornadoes.  The address is 1 Convoy Drive, Springfield, MO  65802.   Please volunteer by May 2 so we can send you a link to a Registration Form that Convoy of Hope requires from each of its volunteers.
  • May 13 (Tuesday): Board meeting, noon, UMB Bank, 1150 E. Battlefield Road, Springfield; non-board members are welcome to attend
